Family and friends are coming together to honor the life and memory of Alicia Michelle Mills, who passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, in Virginia Beach at the age of 40. Surrounded by loved ones in her final moments, Alicia’s passing has left a deep sense of sorrow among those who knew and loved her, while also inspiring reflection on a life defined by compassion, warmth, and quiet strength.
A celebration of Alicia’s life, along with her interment service, is scheduled for April 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Cache Cemetery. In the event of inclement weather, services will be moved to the Cache High School Auditorium, where family, friends, and community members will gather to pay tribute to her life and legacy. These arrangements reflect the deep respect and love felt for Alicia by those whose lives she touched.
Born on August 6, 1985, in Lawton, Alicia was the cherished daughter of Bettye (Pulis) and Brian Mills. She was raised in Cache, where she attended local schools and graduated from Cache Public Schools in 2004. From a young age, Alicia displayed a caring and empathetic nature, qualities that would continue to shape her path throughout her life.
Alicia held various positions over the years, including roles at Arby’s, Bar-S Foods, and Pizza Hut. However, her true calling emerged when she pursued a career in healthcare. She earned her Certified Nursing Assistant certification from Southwest Technology Center, dedicating herself to caring for others with compassion and dignity. Her work reflected her gentle spirit and her desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
Those who knew Alicia will remember her as kind-hearted, soft-spoken, and deeply loving. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—gardening, playing video games, solving puzzles, and spending cherished time with her family. She also had a special affection for her dogs, who were constant companions, and a fondness for collecting owls, a hobby that brought her comfort and happiness. Her bright smile and signature dimples left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Alicia is survived by her loving parents, Bettye and Brian Mills of Cache; her brother, TJ (Melissa) Pulis; her nephews Tyler, Jordan, Evan, and Mason; her niece Lily; her cousins Alden and Eric Knighton; her paternal grandmother, Pat Miller; and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will continue to honor her memory. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Sandra Pulis; her maternal aunt, Deborah Knighton; and her paternal grandfather, Fred Mills.
Though her life was cut short, Alicia Michelle Mills leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and love that will never be forgotten.
